The Mill Batenburg is a non-working corn mill located on the Molenhijk in the town of Batenburg. It was originally used to produce flour for the nearby castle. The history of the mill can be traced back to 1531, when Mr van Batenburg requested rights to build a mill in the city. When the French invaded Batenburg in 1795 and set fire to the castle, records relating to the mill were lost. The mill is still in operation, and is opened to the public each Wednesday.
