The Wind Motor Tirns is a relatively modern water mill. It was built in 1922 to a relatively rare American design known as the ’Hercules Wind Engine’. The advantage of this design is that the mill is able to adjust to different wind directions and levels without intervention from a miller, enabling it to operate in a variety of conditions. The mill is still in use today, and is in very good condition.
