The Windmotor Ruigahuizen is a modern watermill located on Ruchhusterwei in the town of Ruigahuizen. The mill was built in 1920, using the popular U.S. Wind Engine design. The mill has a closed base, and 18 sails. The Windmotor Ruigahuizen is quite small, with a flight of just 4.5 metres. The mill is still in use today, and is in very good condition. It is one of only a few U.S Wind Engine mills still in good condition.
