The Windmotor 1 is a modern watermill located on a small island to the east of the village of Terherne. The mill is a typical example of a ’U.S. Wind Engine’ with a flight of 4.5 metres. The exact date of the construction of the mill is unknown, but it is likely that the mill was built during the early part of the 20th century. During the summer, the mill can be reached via a motorboat.
