The Watersnoodsmuseum is a musem which commemorates the great floods that hit the region in 1953, and served as a catalyst for the Delta Project. The museum is located in one of the original concrete bunkers which were moved into place to plug a break in the dyke. The museum houses some construction machinery which was used during the 1950s, along with some scale models which show the extent of the flood damage, and some original newsreel footage and newspaper clippings.
