The Prinsenmolen is a 17th century water mill located on Prinsemolenpad in the town of Rotterdam. The mill was built in 1648 by the carpenter Jan Willemsz, and is now a listed monument. The Prinsenmolen was used to drain the Berg and Broek polders until 1966, when an electric pump took over the husbandry of the polder. The Prinsenmolen is owned by the Krimpenerwaard and Schieland Water Board. The mill is open to the public on selected holidays, such as National Mill Day.
