The Korenbloem in Sommelsdijk is a historic corn mill. It was built in 1703, and is the oldest mill in the area. Until 1918, the mill would give the poor of the village a free bag of wheat once a year. The mill was bought by the town in 1973, and restoration work was performed in 1977. The mill is now owned by the Goeree-Overflakkee Mill Foundation. Tours of the mill are available upon request.
