The Korenaar mill is an historic corn mill located on Hearewei in the town of Sexbierum. The mill was built in 1868, to replace an older mill that had been destroyed the previous year. The mill was in active use until 1933. The Korenaar mill was restored in 1995, and is now owned by Mr. S. C Palma. The mill is open to the public every Saturday, and every Sunday afternoon. Tours of the Korenaar mill are available on other days by appointment.
