The Iron Mill is also known as ’The New Mill’. It was the second water mill to be built on the banks of the Geulke river. The Iron Mill is located on the left bank of the river, and is part of a U-shaped building with an ornately decorated exterior. The mill was built in 1850, and was used as a commercial corn mill until the early 1950s. The Iron Mill is currently idle, and is in serious need of restoration.
