The Hellemolen was built in 1831 to replace a post mill that had been destroyed in a fire. The mill originally had a different name, and was ran by the Van Beckum family from Uden. It was sold to the Van Helmond family in 1950, and they re-named it to ’The Hellemolen’. The Hellemolen is no longer in use as a corn mill. It has been converted into a restaurant called ’De Witte Molen’.
