The Genenberg Mill was built in 1841 for the miller Petrus Van Riel. The Genenberg Mill is a traditional round stone belt mill with a Flemish vane, and large sails that have a total flight of 26.74 metres After Van Riel’s death in 1844, the mill had several private owners. In 1964, the mill was decommissioned and converted into a dwelling. The mill is currently in use as a private residence.
