The Dellen Mill was built in 1855 to replace an older mill that was destroyed by a fire. The mill stood in a town called ’t Where, just to the north of New Scheemda. In 1985, the mill was dismantled, and moved to its current location. The mill is now ran by volunteer millers, and is used as an emergency backup mill for the Tichelwaark polder. The mill is open to the public every evening during the summer months.
