The Broekmolen is an historic water-driven corn mill located on Grensweg in the town of Stramproy. The mill was built in 1738, to replace a 15th century mill that had been recently demolished. The mill was bought by the pharmacist Richard Joseph Maria Vermeulen in 1971. Mr. Vermeulen began some extensive restoration work on the mill in 1976. The work was completed in 1978. The Broekmolen is open to the public.
