The Binnenmolen was built in 1893, and was originally used as a corn mill. In 1934, the mill was decommissioned and converted into a restaurant. Several windows were installed into the hood, turning the upper floors of the mill into a lookout tower. The mill earned the nickname ’The Panorama Mill’. In 1957 the mill was purchased by the Utrecht Mills Foundation, and restored to working order. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
