The Arend Mill was built in 1742 for the Siegen branch of the Nassau family. It was originally called the Nassauw-Siegen Mill. The mill was given it’s current name when Prince Charles William Henry Friso of Orange Nassau came to power. The mill is now owned by Drimmelen County, and is open to the public several days each week. The current opening times are listed on the mill web site. There is a small shop in the mill which sells a variety of grain products.
