The Ter Horst Pelmolen was built in 1752 by Jan ter Horst, whose descendants still own, and live in, the mill. The mill is used to peel barley, and make rapeseed oil. Goods were transported to and from the mill using small wooden rive boats. The mill was decommissioned in 1913, and stood idle until 1973, when the family restored the mill. Today, the Ter Horst Pelmolen is open to the public during the summer, with group tours available upon request.
