The Staverden Water Mill is a relatively modern water mill in the town of Staverden, Gelderland. It was built by the Geldersche Landscape Foundation, and is used to generate clean electricity. The wheel was refurbished in the year 2000. The Staverden Water Mill has an output of around 4kW, and is expected to generate around 15,000kWh of clean electricity each year – enough for around 5 househoulds. The power is delivered directly to the national grid.
