The Stadhuis in ’s Hertogenbosch (which is more commonly called Den Bosch) is a late 16th century building located on the old, traditional style cobbled market square. It was constructed in the classic Dutch style, and its most interesting feature is the carillon which chimes the half hour to the accompaniment of some mechanical horsemen. The carillon is also played every Wednesday morning. The name of the town translates to ’The Dukes Forest’.
