St Laurenskerk in Rotterdam was originally constructed in the 15th century. The church was rebuilt in 1940 after heavy bomb damage, but has retained much of its splendour. The church now features beautiful bronze doors, fitted in the 1960s and the work of Giacomo Manzu. There are a number of concerts held here throughout the year, and, on specified weekends, visitors are permitted to climb the tower, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
