The Museum De Dubbelde Palmboom is devoted to the history of Rotterdam and its role in international trade. The museum examines how the exotic goods imported by the East India Company affected the city. The exhibits are all labelled in Dutch, but an English guide is available. Plates, bowls and other utensils, cast from copies of the original 17th and 18th century moulds, are produced in the Guild House section of the museum, and are available for visitors to purhcase.
