Gerritsen’s Mill
Molenberg 4, 7064 GK Silvolde - Netherlands

Map
The Gerritsens Mill was built in 1956 for Bernardus Bongers, with the help of the local tanners, the Borggreven family. The mill was originally called ’The Belterman’, and served as a corn mill, and a tannery. In 1887, the mill was sold to the Gerritsen family, who owned the mill for several generations. The Gerritsen family sold the mill to a farmer, B. Coops, in 1940, but bought the mill back ten years late. Today, the mill is owned by the town of Oude IJsselstreek. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
