The Feanstermoune Mill is an historic corn mill located on Koartwald in the town of Surhuisterveen. The mill was originally built in 1864, and was rebuilt in its current location in 1995 by the Feanstermoune Mill Foundation. The mill is an industrial monument, and still contains the original petrol and diesel engines, as well as the wind powered mill mechanisms. The mill is now ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public every Saturday morning.
