The Eben Haezer mill can be translated to ’By God’s Assistance’. The mill is located on the southwest side of the town of Spui. The Eben Haezer was built in 1807. Today, the mill is owned by the Terneuzen County. Extensive restoration work was carried out on the mill in 1999, with repair work being done on the hood, the floor, the windows, and the tail of the mill. The mill is now in working order, and is open to the public.
