The Duffels Mill is a working corn mill located on Molenberg in the town of Stokkum. It was built in 1861 by the miller Dorus Wintering of Angerlo. When Mr Wintering died his wife re-married, and had a daughter, who went on to marry Jan Duffel, a son of German miller. Mr Wintering’s mill was passed on to the young couple, and became known as “the Duffel’s Mill”. The mill is still owned by the Duffel family today. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
