Delfshaven is an open air museum along the waterfront in Old Rotterdam. Most of the 110 houses around the port have been carefully restored, giving visitors a view of the city as it was in the 1600s. Areas of interest include Piet Heynstraat, named after Fleet Admiral Piet Heijn who captured a Spanish treasure fleet in 1628, and the working mill of Korenmolen de Distilleerketel. The Oudekerk and Pilgrimvaders Kerk are also within the Delfshaven area.
