The Meermin Mill is an historic grain mill in the town of Terhofstede. The mill was built in 1896, to a traditional ’stellingmolen’ design. It was made to replace a smaller ’standerdmolen’ which had been built approximately 20 years earlier. The mill was in active use until 1948, despite suffering heavy damage during the second world war. The mill has been decommissioned, but many of the inner workings are still in good condition, including the central girder, wheels and pulleys.
