The De Hoop Mill is an historic corn mill located on Mounepaed in the town of Stiens. The mill was originally built in 1853, but was demolished down to the foundation stones in 1922. The De Hoop mill was rebuilt in 1992. The De Hoop mill is now owned by the Leeuwarderadeel County. The mill is open to the public every Saturday, and the mill shop sells a variety of fresh produce from the mill, including flour and baking mixes.
