The De Hoop Mill was built in 1703 for the miller Cornelis Willemsen, to replace an older, smaller post mill. It is a large corn mill with a single flock grindstone, and tall sails with a flight of over 22 meters. The mill is owned by the Eindhoven Mispelaer, and is in very good condition, having been recently restored. The De Hoop Mill offers a very good view over the River Lek. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
