The Centrum Voor Natuur en Landschap (Centre For Nature and Lanscape) in Terschelling is a municipal institution devoted to the preservation of the island’s landscape. The centre provides visitors with a chance to enjoy the local environment, and gives an insight into the local marine life, flora, and fauna. There are a number of sea aquariums in the centre, ranging from relatively small to 40,000 litres in size. There is also a museum with multimedia and video exhibitions.
