The Buurtermolen is an 18th century polder mill located on the eastern side of Kever. The exact date of the mill’s construction is unknown. The mill served the 67 hectare Buurterpolder until 1969. The Buurtermolen has been owned by the Rhineland Mill Foundation since 1970. The mill is relatively small for a polder mill, and has a flight of only 18.15 metres. The mill is ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public.
