The Akkerslootmolen is an historic polder mill located on Akkerslootpolder in the town of Rijpwetering. The mill was built in 1793 to manage the Akkersloot, Hertogs, and Bliverspolder between the towns of Oude-Ade and Rijpwetering. The mill was decommissioned in the 1970s, and was bought by the Old Rijnstromen Water Board in the 1990s. The mill has been recently restored, and is now is used as an emergency backup for times of high rain.
