The Agneta Mill was built in 1851 as a combination ’pelmolen’, for stripping barley to produce an end product called ’gort’, and oil mill, and a corn mill. In 1914 the mill was converted to a sawmill. Since then the mill has been restored several times. The mill is currently owned by the Vaags Molenmakerij, who use it as an electric sawmill. Tours of the Agneta Mill are available, although opening times are limited. The current opening hours are listed on the mill web site.
