The Wippersmolen is a historic polder mill located in the town of Maassluis. It was built in 1726, and made famous when the painter Jongkind came to Maassluis in 1862 and produced a landscape painting of the mill and its surroundings. The Wippersmolen was sold to the town in 1972, and restored in 1974. It is now owned by the Water Authority of Delfland. The mill is in working order. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
