The Windmotor Barfjild is a modern watermill located 2 kilometres southwest of the village of Wolwarren. The mill is of the U.S. Wind Engine design, which was very popular in the Friesland region at the start of the 20th century. The Windmotor Barfjild is a fairly small mill, with 18 wind sheets, and a flight of just 3 metres. The mill was built by the Adema Brothers of Wirdum, and is still in use today.
