The Windmotor 9 in Nijetrijne is one of several watermills located along the Lindedijk in the town of Nijetrijne. The Windmotor 9 is a fairly small wind mill, with 18 wind sheets, and a flight of 4 metres. The exact date of the mills construction is unknown, but the design of the mill suggests that it was built in the early part of the 20th century. The Windmotor 9 is situated in the Rottige Meente, near a bird watching area, approximately 250 metres down a patch from the Lindedijk.
