The Windmotor 4 is a relatively modern wind mill located to the South of the Brandemeer in the town of Oldelamer. The mill is very small, with a flight of just 3.5 metres. The Windmotor 4 is still in use today as a drainage mill, and is one of several such mills serving the city. The exact date of the construction of the Windmotor 4 is not known, but its U.S. Wind Engine design suggests that the mill was built during the first half of the 20th century. The mill is not open to the public.
