The Windmotor 1 in Nijetrijne is one of several wind mills in the picturesque Rottige Meente nature reserve. The mill is located near the Veerdijk, and is quite difficult to reach, as there is no road or paved path leading up to it. The mill cannot be reached by car, but is a 400 metre walk from the Veerdijk, or a 1.1 kilometre walk from the Oldelamerbrug road. The Windmotor 1 is open to the public.
