The Windlust Mill was built in 1781 in the town of Delft, where it was used as a snuff mill. It was moved to its current location in Nootdorp in 1885, and converted into a corn mill. The Windlust was decommissioned in 1952. The mill was restored in 1989 by the ’Friends of the Windlust in Nootdorp ’Foundation, and is now ran on a voluntary basis. The Windlust Mill is open to the public, and guided tours can be arranged upon request.
