The Marie Tak Van Poortvliet Museum is a museum devoted to works created by a group of artists who gathered in the town of Domburg, just north of Middelburg. The group was formed by Jan Toorop, and included such famous artists as Piet Mondrian. They found the scenery of Domburg inspiring, and appreciated the clear skies and the quality of the light. The museum displays a number of works created by members of the group on a replica of the pavilion that Jan Toorop had built.
