The Windjager Mill is the last remaining mill on the Oostzijderveld. There were originally three mills in the area. The other two mills were ’The Huisvrouw’, which was destroyed by an accidental fire several years ago, and ’The Freedom’, which was destroyed by a fire lit by some local youths. The Windjager mill is now owned by Mr. S. Vergouw. The mill is open to the public, although it is only accessible by boat. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
