The White Mill

The White Mill was built in 1760 to replace an older post mill that had been destroyed by fire earlier that year. The mill was originally owned by Mauritz de Bruyn and Jan Broesterhuysen. The White Mill is also known by the name ’Looimolen’ The mill was sold to the municipality of Nijmegen in 1974, and is now used to produce a variety of grain products from organically grown cereal. The mill is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays.
