The White Mill was built in 1740 for Johan Maurits van Hemert. There is a small placque on the mill commemorating the person who placed the first stone, Johan Maurits, and the person who placed the last one, Dirk van Hemert. The mill is now owned by the Country van Heusden and Altena Mill Foundation, and is ran by a voluntary miller. The White Mill is open to the public every Saturday afternoon.
