The Pelican Mill was built in 1864 on the behalf of C. van de Westelaken. The mill was owned by the van de Westelaken family until 1908, when it was sold to H. A. Eetgerink. In 1924, the mill, which had been damaged in a fire two years previously, was sold to the Toelen family, who still own the mill today. The Pelican mill is still used for commercial purposes, but tours of the mill can be arranged by telephoning the miller.
