The Marssumermolen is a relatively modern water mill located on Veemanstrjitte in the town of Marssum. The mill was built in 1903 by J. H Westra of Franeker, to serve the old Marssummerpolder. The Marssumermolen is now owned by the Menaldumadeel Mills Foundation. The foundation restored the mill in 2000, and the mill can now be seen in operation quite frequently. The Marssumermolen is open to the public, and tours are available upon request.
