The Korneschoof Mill was built in 1849 by mill-maker H. Suebring. The mill was commissioned by R. Klinkhamer, and was used as a bark mill until 1888, when it was converted to a corn mill. The Korenschoof mill was bought by the town of Haren in 1940. The mill was closed down because of its decaying condition, and a restoration programme began in 2004. The mill re-opened in 2005, and is now open to the public, although an appointment is requred.
