The Hope Windmill in Ouddorp is a working corn mill. It was built in 1845 on behalf of J. Zoeter and D. Voogd. The mill replaced an older ’standerdmolen’ that had previously stood in the same location. The Hope Mill was used to grind grain for the local population until 1952. The mill is in good condition and is still in use today, and is open to the public on weekday mornings, and all day Saturday.
