The Four Winds mill was built in 1882, to replace an older wooden mill that had been destroyed by a fire. The Four Winds Mill was in use until the mid 20th century, when a housing development was built in the area surrounding it, blocking wind from reaching the mill, and seriously damaging its efficiency. The mill was decommissioned in 1957, and later sold to the town. The Four Winds Mill has been recently restored, and is now in use to produce grain products on a small scale. The mill is open to the public every Saturday.
