The Bakery Museum, or ’De Oude Bajjerij’ has been a feature of Medemblik for many years. The museum holds regular demonstrations and workshops which explain how a traditional bakery works. Visitors of all ages will enjoy seeing the machines and tools used by bakeries in the 1950s, and can also view exhibitions on popular ingredients, such as sugar, marzipan and chocolate. The museum places a strong emphasis on interactivity, and reveals a lot about the baking process.
