The Assumburg Mill is a historic corn mill located on the western side of West Brabant. The mill was built in 1779, and was severely damaged in a fire in 1887. The mill was rebuilt in the same location in 1897. Today, the Assumburg mill is owned by the Steenbergen County, and is host to a small museum with a gallery of photographs focused windmills and their role in Dutch history. The mill is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the summer.
