The Africa Centre is a short walk from Cadier-En-Keer, joust outside of Maastricht. It is housed in the HQ of the African Missionaries Society, and contains a collection of West African artefacts, including masks, jewellery and statues. The collection comes from a number of different tribes, and certain items date back to the thirteenth century. The museum gives visitors an idea how African people have lived in the past, and also touches on life in Africa in modern times.
